Pose AI's privacy approach comes down to three commitments stated plainly in the policy: your photos aren't used to train AI models, they're processed and deleted promptly rather than kept, and you can delete your account and all associated data at any time. This walks through what that means in practice.

- No-training policy: Pose AI does not use your personal data, including your uploaded photos, to train AI models or create other AI products.
- Instant-ish deletion: photos and videos you upload for generation are processed and deleted promptly after your output is created — not retained beyond the generation process.
- GDPR compliance: processing follows the CCPA, CPRA, GDPR, UK GDPR, and PIPEDA, named directly in the policy rather than a vague reference to "applicable law".
- Full account deletion is self-service in the app and takes effect immediately; inactive accounts (90+ days, no subscription) are auto-deleted with 14 days' notice.
Data retention
Photos and videos you upload for generation are processed and deleted promptly after your AI image, video, or Photo Model is created — they are not retained beyond the generation process. Your generated outputs and Photo Models are stored on Amazon Web Services (USA) servers and stay accessible until you delete them, delete your account, or the account is removed under the inactive-account policy below.
This retention model is narrower than several competitors: some AI photo apps keep uploaded and generated content for weeks, or up to a year, to improve their models generally. Pose's source photos don't persist past the generation they were used for.
No training on your photos
We don't use your personal data to train AI models or create other AI products. This applies to the facial geometry data extracted during generation too — it's used solely to generate the images, videos, and Photo Models you request, not to identify you across other services or to improve a shared model that benefits other users.
Security
Photos and generated outputs are hosted on Amazon Web Services (USA) infrastructure. Like most modern web services, data in transit is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. Our policy is also direct about a limit worth stating rather than glossing over: no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no service — including this one — can guarantee absolute security. We'd rather say that plainly than oversell it.
User controls and compliance
You can delete specific photos, Photo Models, or your entire account at any time from within the Pose app, and deletion is immediate and permanent once processed. Accounts inactive for 90 or more consecutive days without an active subscription are automatically deleted, with a 14-day email notice first, giving you a window to keep the account by logging back in.
Processing follows the CCPA, CPRA, several other US state privacy laws, the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR, and Canada's PIPEDA — named directly in the policy. We don't sell your personal information to third parties, and sub-processors performing generation on our behalf (AWS for hosting, fal.ai for image and video generation, ElevenLabs for voice) are named in the policy as well.
