High quality in photo-to-video AI comes down to three things: resolution, motion that looks physically plausible, and a face that still looks like the person in the photo. A generator can be strong on one and weak on another, so the right choice depends on the clip.
Pose AI runs four video models side by side, so you can match the model to the photo instead of accepting one look. This guide compares them on those three points. No made-up scores: the table describes what each model is good at.
Turn a photo into a clip in the Pose AI video studio.
- Pose's photo-to-video models are Kling 3.0, SeedDance 2.5, SeedDance 2.0 and Gemini Omni Flash, all starting from your photo as the first frame.
- Kling 3.0 is the pick for cinematic 1080p camera moves; SeedDance 2.0 on its Standard tier reaches up to 4K.
- SeedDance 2.5 is the default for people and talking clips, with voice; Gemini Omni Flash is the fastest for drafts.
- Face preservation comes from the photo itself: gentle, well-lit source images keep the person recognisable best.
What makes AI video quality high?
Resolution is how many pixels the clip has: 1080p is sharp for most social use, and 4K helps when you will crop or show it large. Motion quality is whether movement looks physically believable, with no melting limbs, flicker or objects sliding. Face preservation is whether the person stays recognisable from the first frame to the last.
The photo you start from matters as much as the model. A sharp, evenly lit image with a clear face gives any model more to hold on to; a blurry or heavily filtered one limits every result.
The models, defined
Kling 3.0: a video model known for cinematic camera moves, at 1080p, with clips of 5, 10 or 15 seconds. Strongest when the shot is about camera movement and scene.
SeedDance 2.5: Pose's default for photos, strong on people and motion and able to generate speech. Clips are 5 to 10 seconds from a photo, at 480p or 720p.
SeedDance 2.0: the route to the highest resolution, up to 4K on its Standard tier, with 4 to 10 second clips and voice, including a cloned voice.
Gemini Omni Flash: the fastest and cheapest of the four, with an auto-generated voice and resolution from 360p up to 4K, for quick drafts.
Photo to video quality at a glance
| Model | Resolution | Motion | Faces from a photo | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kling 3.0 | 1080p | Strong camera moves, cinematic scenes | Starts from your photo; best with gentle subject motion | Cinematic shots, landscapes, product reveals |
| SeedDance 2.5 | 480p, 720p | Natural people and movement | Strong on people; supports voice | Talking and moving portraits (default) |
| SeedDance 2.0 | Up to 4K (Standard tier) | Detailed, high-resolution motion | Holds detail at high resolution | The sharpest output, large displays |
| Gemini Omni Flash | 360p to 4K | Quick, simple motion | Fine for drafts | Fast, cheap tests before a final render |
No single model wins every row. Pick by the job: Kling for camera, SeedDance 2.0 for resolution, SeedDance 2.5 for people, Gemini Omni Flash for speed.
How Pose compares with Runway and Pika
Runway and Pika are standalone video generators, each a separate subscription built around its own model. Runway is known for camera controls and Pika for expressive short clips, and either can be the better pick for a particular look.
Pose's difference is breadth and identity: four models in one workspace on one credit plan, and a face that stays the person in your photo. If you only ever need one model's style, a single-model tool is a fair choice.
